Gigi Rüf (October 9, 1981) is an Austrian professional
snowboarder who used to ride for the snowboard company
Burton. Now he has switched to having Volcom sponsor him.
Also he has been snowboarding for Burton for 12 years. He
switched to having Volcom sponsor him because he wanted to
see what else was out there for him than Burton. Also he
wanted to go at his own pace and enjoy riding with his
friends. At the time he switched sponsors he felt like if
there was a time to change it was then. The reason he went
back to Volcom was because they supported his in the past
and he liked working with them.
