Skating Champion Joannie Rochette is the 2010 Olympic figure
skating bronze medalist, the 2009 world figure skating
silver medalist, and the 2008 and 2009 Four Continents
silver medalist. She also won the bronze medal at 2004 Grand
Prix of Figure Skating Final. Tragedy Struck at the 2010
Winter Olympics In Vancover: Joannie Rochette's fifty-five
year old mother, Therese Rochette, died suddenly shortly
after arriving in Vancouver on Sunday morning, February 20,
2010.. Rochette's parents had just arrived Saturday from
Montreal. The cause of death was a sudden heart attack.
