| Culinary arts has been offered as a major at Johnson & Wales University since 1973. Todayf, the program is one of the most respected of its type and has produced some of the nation’s top chefs. From day one, students learn and develop their skills in actual kitchens. This practical experience is something that only the top cooking schools can offer. In addition to this, every student has the chance to gain valuable experience as part of an internship or co-op program.
The University’s alumni includes famous TV chef Emeril Lagasse.
