Located in Boston, MA, Northeastern offers a co-op program,
founded nearly a century ago, and is one of the largest and
most innovative in the world. Students gain up to 18 months
of professional experience related to their major or career
interest with any of more than 2,000 employers across the
country and in 88 cities around the world, in business,
health care, education, engineering and technology, the
visual and performing arts, and public policy. Co-op is
closely integrated with our course curriculum, our
scheduling, and our advising system. A network of co-op
coordinators affiliated with each college support students
in preparing for and succeeding on their co-ops. These
multiple connections make co-op at Northeastern an avenue to
intellectual and personal growth: adding depth to classroom
studies, providing exposure to career paths and
opportunities, and developing in students a deeper
understanding that leads to success in a world without
boundaries.
