Associated Press reports Stephanie McGwire wife of former
Major League Baseball player and current Saint Louis
Cardinals hitting coach Mark "Big Mac" McGwire
gave birth to triplets on Tuesday. Mark was absent from his
duties with the team to attend the birth of his childen.
Tony LaRussa the manager of the Saint Cardinals did not say
if Mark will return to the team on Wednesday as the
Cardinals play the Cincinnati Reds. Former Major League
Baseball player Mike Aldrete replaced Mark as the hitting
coach during his absence. The McGwires now have five
children in Mark's second marriage Congraulations to the
McGwire's on this joyous day.
